Bookings Request Form

Please complete the booking request form at the bottom of the page to make a request to hire the hall. All boxes need to be completed. We will contact you to confirm availability and to arrange payment. Payment is made by bank transfer. On the day of your booking we will give you a contract of hire which you will need to sign in advance of use of the hall. Enquiries are dealt with on a first come first served basis. Alternatively you can download the form in PDF or Word format (links at the bottom of the page), scan the completed document and email it back.

Mortimer Hall is available for hire on Saturday’s between 10:00 and 23:55 and on Sunday’s between 10:00 and 18:30.

A refundable deposit is required for all bookings and the hire fee includes the use of tables and chairs (seating for 80) and use of the kitchen and will be refunded provided you adhere to the terms and conditions and leave the hall as you find it. There are modern toilet facilities, including facilities for the disabled, a sprung dance floor, plus free car parking for our patrons.

Due to fire regulations, the maximum number of persons, including children (and babies), permitted on the premises are eighty, attending any event at the hall.

Due to noise restrictions under the terms of the hall’s premises licence, we are unable to accept bookings for events with loud music.

Bouncy castles, or the like, and fireworks are not permitted anywhere on the premises.

You will need a to obtain a Temporary Events Notice for the sale of alcohol at the hall.
